Leven met minder stress en meer geluk en welbevinden
Omdat ik ervaar hoeveel mindfulness, iedere dag weer, voor mij betekent en hoeveel het voor anderen betekent, ben ik gestart met het geven van trainingen.
‘Ik was een wandelend hoofd, en nu kan ik ook voelen’
Het besef en ervaren dat écht ieder moment anders is en opnieuw beleefd kan worden, was voor mij het begin van bewustwording, acceptatie en loslaten. Een leven leiden met minder stress en meer geluk en welbevinden.
Omdat ik ervaar hoeveel mindfulness, iedere dag weer, voor mij betekent en hoeveel het voor anderen betekent, ben ik gestart met het geven van trainingen. Daarom heb ik in 2013 Lumi mindfulness opgericht. In 2015 kwamen de yogalessen erbij en werd het Lumi mindfulness & yoga.
Ik heb diverse opleidingen en trainingen gevolgd om een kwalitatieve training en lessen te kunnen geven:
Daarnaast ben ik orthopedagoge en docent en werk ik sinds 2008 met kinderen, jongeren en gezinnen.
Yoga hielp mij vanuit mijn hoofd meer in mijn lichaam te komen en te voelen
Tien jaar geleden ben ik gestart met yoga en meditatie. Ik ervaarde veel stress en ging continu de strijd met deze stress en met mezelf aan, wat voor nog meer stress zorgde. Dit uitte zich in lichamelijke klachten en minder energierijk voelen. Yoga hielp mij vanuit mijn hoofd meer in mijn lichaam te komen en te voelen.
“We have more possibilities available in each moment than we realize”
Woorden die voor mij tot leven kwamen na het volgen van de mindfulnesstraining.
Na enkele maanden in Nepal te zijn verbleven (voor het eerst in 2012) kwam ik in aanraking met meditatie en boeddhisme. Ik besloot in Nederland om een stukje van de openheid, luchtigheid die ik had ervaren op mijn reis in Nepal in te voeren in mijn hectische leven. Ik kwam in aanmerking met mindfulness; Oosterse meditatietechnieken met Westerse wetenschap. En vond hierin een helpende en blijvende ‘techniek’ om minder spanningen te ervaren, vriendelijker voor mezelf te zijn en het leven vrolijker en met nog meer energie tegemoet te gaan. In 2013 heb ik de opleiding tot mindfulnesstrainer afgerond bij See True en heb ik Lumi mindfulness opgericht.
Sindsdien heb ik achtweekse mindfulnesstrainingen gegeven, naast mijn werk in de jeugdzorg (waar mindfulness overigens ook erg goed van pas komt!).
In 2015 heb ik een intensieve yogaopleiding gevolgd bij Yogi Ram uit India, bij Arhanta Yoga International en ben ik sinds juni 2015 officieel erkend yoga opleider. De combinatie mindfulness en yoga staan voor mij garant voor een gezond lichaam en geest en optimaal welbevinden!
